The results from this survey indicated that some commercially important species with Swordfish being the most dominant followed by Yellow Fin Tuna, Striped Marlin and Sailfish inhabiting Myanmar offshore waters.
Big Eye Thresher, White Tipped Reef Shark, Escolar, Pelagic Stingray and Snake Mackerel were also found as by-catch in this survey.
