Superfreeze 2.0 grips the USA, record snow in Pakistan with runoff expected to fill long dry riverbeds, 3000 years dry and Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) removes Greenland Ice Mass Budget because of too much ice growth. Arctic ice continues to rebound to 2004-2013 levels.

Super freeze 2.0 swept the United States with a temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit below normal. There are ice storms accompanying the leading edge of this front, described as ferocious! The line that is very discernible in this chart as a candy cane ribbon of destruction with 80 mile per hour winds, sideways blowing snow, and so far, more than an inch of ice accumulation.

Meanwhile, as we progress deeper into the Grand Solar Minimum, the first thing to go, is the information. The Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), removed Greenland Mass Ice Budget. Why would they do that?

I think Greenland Mass Ice Budget was removed because they were showing record gains on Greenland ice in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Even back in 2015, there was this record of gaining ice.

One of the only options that we have now to access information like this is to go to Polar Portal. Information updated through 2018 still shows no loss of ice. That straight line where it says zero in the graph is where the loss is. Do you see any color below the line? It hasn't even lost ice in September or October during the melt season. I guess we have to wait to see if it's in the averages as we approach June, July and August.

Right now, what they have in DMI is the Arctic Sea Ice Volume, which I believe in the future, will also just magically disappear. This is because that black line in the graph is showing that the Arctic ice has increased, at least back to the 2004 to 2013 baseline. That is “inconvenient”. This is probably going to disappear too.

Similarly, they had record snow in Pakistan! There were these deep accumulations, massive floods, and armies rescuing people.

But they're still joyous about this rain. They called this a blessing from God because it's alleviating the drought. They're expecting more agriculture because of this event that happened over these last two weeks.

This record snowfall raised the water table to about 6 to 7 feet, and this is what made the population joyous, because it's been such a drought there for so long.

Now, with the intensifying Grand Solar Minimum, Intertropical Convergence Zone and jet streams are shifting, resulting in more precipitations to come back in this area. They even talked about raising the water table if the melted ice flows into the rivers. Which rivers would those be?

These are the rivers next to these 2,000 – 3,000-year abandoned settlements. Places like this these, with rivers like these, are starting to flow again. Is it really a 400-year cycle we're entering into? Or something much heavier and more powerful?

Look at the drainage basin through the Indus Valley. Remember, this is one of the cradles of civilization. Before, it was much more fertile and it received much more rainfall, but how far back do we need to go, to find fertile lands with normal rainfall conditions across this entire region, thousands and thousands of years?

Anyway, so much snow has fallen down in the Ghanool forest area and in the Kaghan Valley, that animals such as leopards and pheasants are all migrating from high mountains to the plains of Hazara. It really is strange that these animals are running from these precipitation events.

Reports on this event is now blanketing the media. If you want to look for news in Pakistan about weather events, this is the week to do it. It is everywhere and it is an all-encompassing event, with some human interest stories in it as well.

And if we do look back in time, particularly in 2010, the floods were there too, where increasing rainfall went down in that same exact area. This s why I believe that this is a trend of increasing precipitation in some areas of our planet, as we move into the Grand Solar Minimum.

On a side note, if you're into trekking, you're definitely going to know these regions of Pakistan: Karakoram, Hindu Kush and Swat Valley. These are incredible beauty on our planet.

In the midst of all these events, one human interest story has caught my attention. Polio workers are going up in remote villages to vaccinate children. They are trundling through the snow to reach those remote areas. These were the snow bound areas in Bahrain.

Mumtaz Ali can be seen walking through feet of snow, above and beyond the call of duty, to help others. This is where we need to start thinking as we go through in these types of conditions: to be able to help others.
