Snow Los Angeles, Record Snow Las Vegas & Flagstaff Arizona, Floods Brazil

Snow over the last day in Los Angeles, the last time snow was seen 1962, with new cold record in Santa Barbara. Flagstaff, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada break their all time snow fall records. Sao Paula, Brazil atmospheric compression event and biblical floods blast through the city. More signs the Grand Solar Minimum is intensifying.

Starting off with the extreme weather warnings from the National Weather Service, if you're anywhere under that colored area on the map, expect flash floods, severe hails, side line winds, electrical activities and power outages, as this line of winter thunderstorms rolls through over the weekend.

Los Angeles, California snowed with powder in Malibu, Pasadena and West Hollywood as well. This is so strange that people stopped their cars to get out and take images to post on social media. This is how rare this event is.

I tried digging through the headlines to look for more information and this is what I found: Los Angeles’ last snowfall on record was in 1962.

So we have to go back 58 years to find this type of snowfall. The numbers were a little misleading though. It says here that snow has fallen 31 times in 142 years, so if we subtract 58 years off of that, it would only bring us to the 90-year era, but note that for 10 years during the Dustbowl, it didn't snow, so that only leaves us 50 years of time. So does this mean that it snowed 31 times within that 50 years? That doesn't make sense.  I believe the media put that out to make it seem like a normal event.

Anyway, a couple of images came out of Twitter showing an old newspaper clipping of the snowfall in Pasadena Hills in 1962.

This cold outbreak event with snow and record cold is a result of this jet stream pinch sending record snow down to Washington state and to British Columbia, and that now is pushing further south.

Then the NBC News came out with: A bit of snow in Los Angeles, and suddenly it's snowmageddon. It shouldn’t be “snowmageddon”, it should be “a bad call by the IPCC saying that this planet is going to continue to go warm, warm and warm” because not even once in their predictions did they talk about anything warming on this planet is going to create snow in Los Angeles, nor create record cold in Santa Barbara and across the deserts. Snow was never in their models, then suddenly it's here. Are they going to start considering another causation like the intensification of the Grand Solar Minimum?

Check out these images of snow on the Palmetto trees in Palmdale, California.

This here is in Pasadena, and those white dots on the windshield is snow.

This is a video from Brad Turner, and he’s also in awe of the massive snowflakes which came down in Pasadena and coated the Palmetto trees. This event does make you wonder.

#LASnow has become a hashtag on Twitter, so  you can find an up-to-date information on this.

Such information could be found in LA County Sheriff's Office: Good morning from 1 of our coldest patrol stations. Snow and cold came to visit Palmdale.

When we get into the periphery outside the heat island of the city, Yucca Valley and Cajon Pass, look for flower blooms after the snows melt.

Last month, we saw Saguaro cactus in the desert southwest blanketed with snow.

These are some stunning images. I mean, look at the beauty of the hills covered with snow with the rock outcroppings.

L.A Times article had also about 12 or 15 different photos on this rare event, but this was up near Cajon Pass. They’ve also done a rundown on the snow that occurred in 1962, but they're very quick to assure us that it's happened 31 times in the last 142 years. However, like I said, I just don't see how the math works out on those calculations.

San Bernardino National Forest, if you’re planning to go hiking at this time, bring some extra socks and warm boots.

National Weather Service, Los Angeles preliminary low record temperature of 33 degrees Fahrenheit set in Santa Barbara. This broke the old record set in 1990 by 1 degree Fahrenheit. This was a couple days back, as the front was proceeding before the snow started.

But then again, with these climate chaos going on, don’t forget your afternoon sessions. Just relax your mind for a second and go for a paddle out, and see if you can tune in to mother nature.
