Do you still remember when Al Gore told us that snow would be a thing of the past, and our children would never know what snow was again? I sure do. When I was growing up, I was told about Global Warming. It was never called Climate Change when I was introduced to it 30 years ago. Then here we are, June 4th, can you believe that Grand Canyon started snowing on May 20th, and progressed all the way through June 6th?

On May 29^th, Memorial Day vacation, snowfall with cold rain greeted the tourists instead.

On May 30^th, from the National Weather Service report, highway cam shows South Rim of the Grand Canyon with nice summer snowfall, in the hottest year ever.

Then on June 5^th, a jogger that was jogging from North Rim to South Rim, cross country style, was surprised by these snow dabs. Take note, this is June 5^th, not January 5^th.

Finally, GrandCanyonScenicAir put this image out. This image was captured from air to show the full extent of how much snow is there on June 6^th in Eagle Point. That is more than just a dusting, that is a full-on snow cover of inches deep, to be that visible from an aircraft across that amount of cliff bases and canyon peaks. More importantly, all these weather anomalies you are seeing directly affects your food, from corn, to wheat, to soy and other crops you consume. Please take these warnings seriously and act accordingly.
